I was recently contacted by the guys behind the WordPress Manual Plugin about spreading the word about this new and unique product. I have to say, it’s very impressive and I can see how this can really come in handy for web designers and developers who frequently build WordPress-powered sites for clients.

I’ve been kicking around a similar idea for a while now… but I must admit, this thing goes way beyond what I had in mind. This service provides well-produced video manuals, plus a comprehensive written manual and other features like adding your own company branding.
They really went the extra mile to think of all the ways that developers would want to use this plugin. For example, they provide the option to add your own videos on top the ones they provide. This is great if you need to show your client how to manage a custom feature you built onto their WordPress site.
The one downside (there’s always one)
The price tag. I must say that $24/month is a bit steep for this type of product. It’s not a must-have product like, say, an invoicing app. I feel it’s more of a nice-to-have product (OK, really nice to have), which I’d say puts it’s value at around $10-$12/month.
That said, the subscription does allow you to install it on as many sites as you want, plus they say the videos and content will be continuously updated as new versions of WordPress come out.
